Every track needs an artist and song title, and the album is optional. These are read from your file's tags, so you only fill in what's missing. FLAC or WAV are best. MP3 needs 192 kbps or higher, and every file needs 44.1 kHz or higher. Render chip formats such as .nsf, .sid or .lsdsng to audio first.
